For some reason I can’t find any sheets of negs before this, so these are the earliest images I can find. Adam Luxford is an Aussie friend that all I remember is he lived here for a little while and one day I walked into Stratosphere and he took me to a few pools. Holy shit, I got reamed in class about this shot of him – focus, motion, exposure, grain – It does suck %100 but try and tell that to me as an 18 yr old – I failed out (failed, not dropped out) only to return the next year with a better attitude and remain friends with my old photo instructor to this day. Melvin, holy shit – he was a good friend for a while, weird as shit, but was a ripper. Check out the leg opening of the jeans.

Oh yeah, Had to scan this one for sure. It was at his old warehouse on Sampson. I have no idea how I even shot this one because I can pretty much guarantee that I did not know how to work whatever generic flash that I had on the hot shoe of the k1000 let alone fully grasp the idea of the sync speed.
